Marine Assurance

MSB provides a comprehensive vessel assurance process to determine whether a vessel and/or its equipment meet contract and project specific requirements. The assurance process will include a variety of checks that will vary depending on the vessel contract specification, the work to be executed and the risk it presents.

Specifically Tailored Reports

We have developed checklists to aid surveyors in checking and accepting various vessel systems and the level of maintenance.
A consize formal report will be issued supported by detailed technical assessment and will include compliance with flag state and classification society requirements, navigational area and condition of specific systems and equipment. The report will include certification, marine, dynamic positioning, anchor-mooring system, pipelay (PHE and PTS), flexible/cable lay systems, heavy lift and offshore cranes, ROV, diving spread, helideck, etc.

Follow-up Action

Following the survey, a Survey Summary will be issued withing 24 hours that will contain non-conformances, recommendaions and observations. The rectification action will be followed to allow the vessel to be accepted for the work on the intended project.
Whenever required, a follow-up survey will be carried out to confirm that all non-conformances and recommendations have been satisfactorily closed out.
